Apparently there are different Hallmark alligator cases.
As you can see in my pics, thehandle pn mine is plastic, not leather.
I don't have any issues with the case. He'll, I bought the guitar
not the case. I am more than pleased with the
guitar.

Yep! A wise policy. I have upgraded the cases of my guitars from time to time, if I wasn't satisfied with the case they came in.

That Hallmark case of yours looks very much like mine except for the color of the interior fabric and the handle. Mine also has interior padding to cradle the guitar snugly.

My Hallmark case is like gplayer's too...but let me be clear; I'm perfectly content with it and it does the job well besides being very attractive. And since it came with my H60C as part of the deal (I didn't count on it at first!) I consider it a real bargain. Good job Bob Shade.
note: I have two Fender tweed cases for my Strats and they cost me a lot more. They seem more sturdy but then their different dimensions (to the Hallmark case) could account for that; their smaller...

The upgraded case I got from Hallmark does have the leather handle on it and the case is heaver than the stock one. Both case's are of top quality, just that 1 has heaver wood and the leather handle on it.

I am completely satisified with the case that came with my 60's Custom. Besides I can not see the point in forking over more money for a nicer case if it is just going to get dinged up through constant gigging. The cases by the way are from TKL.

Well, I checked with Bob Shade a while back, and unfortunately it looks like Hallmark isn't selling these nice TKL cases anymore. He graciously provided a link to Cedar Creek for a custom build, but I have a feeling that the "custom" part might mean it will be more than I want to spend. It's a long-shot, but does anyone have an extra one they're willing to part with? (Or know of a suitable replacement? Doesn't have to be gator.) Thanks.
