Re: WTB a "M" knob
Thanks Danny, after reading all these posts, I forgot which one it was. I think I might have such a knob
over at the warehouse in which I will be over there either next MON or TUES if you are not in a hurry.....

Re: WTB a "M" knob
hey guys, sorry I didnt answered before, Im not going into the forum too often.
Im still looking for a metalic volume "M" knob
The body of my bass is beed restored but it will take some time. I will give you news as soon as something happend.
Question:
Is this a custom Mosrite part, or just a standard part used by other brands?

IguanaKahuna,
That seller on eBay is Andy Moseley, Semie Moseley's brother. All the parts he sells is left over new stock form the 1960's Bakersfield Mosrite factory so it's the real deal. Also, read Dennis post above yours. He say's he may have the knob your are looking for.

Why is that? Are Fillmores considered better than Kurokumo?

That'd be like pitting a Chevy emblem on a Ford. They are competitors.

Oh yeah. I never thought of it like that. I just thought of it as 2 different entities making the same, great thing. I just like the M knob look on the Ranger. It's a moot point b/c that's probably the last Mosrite I'd ever get rid of.
