No surprise, I like this gold 3 pickup job. What's the switching arrangement?

The 3-way toggle functions the same way it does on a standard two pickup Mosrite (neck, neck/bridge, bridge) while the push/pull volume pot acts as an independent on/off switch for the middle pickup. Easy to use and sounds great, much more practical than the standard American (VIII) model setup.

Interesting circuit. What's this model called, anyhow? Is it a Gospel?

It's a Gospel Victory I, which are rare enough to begin with, but I believe this is the only custom 3-pickup version.

So, correct me if I'm wrong, but there were two guitars and a bass finished like this for the Ventures to use at NAMM in 1965 - and that's it, right?
