National Glenwood, Eko 700, Standel amp for trade or sale?

Just throwing this out there - I've got some gear I don't use as much as I should - a '64 National Glenwood 77 and a '62/3 Eko 700 3V and a '64 Standel 82L15V amp. Pictures below.

The Glenwood is the three pickup version with the two standard type single coils and the "silversound" bridge pickup. I haven't had it apart but I believe it's all original; or at least the controls function as intended. The neck is straight as an arrow and the finish on the body has aged/faded from the original cherry red. In addition to the stock trapeze, I fashioned a hack vibrato trapeze that uses a Teisco style vibrato anchored into the stock trapeze mounting holes.

The 700 3V is a US import model with a '62 body and a '63 neck. Overall the condition is excellent. There are a few dings on the back of the neck where it was leaned against an amp or something. Electronically the guitar is stock, with the exception of a new switchcraft output jack, and the tone sucking "switchboard" resistors/caps have been bypassed so the middle and bridge pickups don't sound like mosquitos.

The Standel amp is a hybrid model, with a solid state pre-amp and tube power amp. It's been recently serviced by SoftScience in Seattle. Two channels, one with vol/contour, treb/bass, vibrato speed/insensity and the other vol/contour and treb/bass. JBL D-130 speaker, about 30W output. The sound is Standel clean, with a nice drive when its volume is maxxed, but no distortion. A very "alive" sound. Sonically I find it similar to my brown Fender Showman just before it starts to break up.

I'm interested in trading for any of the following: Combo guitar (6 or 12), Maphis guitar, Celebrity II guitar, Mark I bass, Mark XII, Mosrite amp, or something suitable wacky and Mosrite-y. Of course, I'm partial to sunbursts. :) I'd rather trade than sell, but for arguments' sake I'll say $1000 each for the guitars and $750 for the amp, negotiable. If it's a sale vs. a trade, the buyer will cover shipping. For a trade, I'd guess both parties cover the relevant shipping.

OK, enough babble, here are the photos!

I am naturally attracted to the unusual in guitars, it seems, and that Eko certainly piques the interest, but my GAS has been extinguished at least temporarily by my last two acquisitions. ;) Good luck on your trades/sales!

Thanks. Not in a rush to trade/sell, just throwing it out there in case someone has a mutually beneficial need to relieve some GAS without dropping cash.

Wow Mel! Nice gear there. That Glenwood looks totally fab. If I was in the US I wouldn't think twice about buying the Standel.

For humor's sake, and to test my Flip camera, I recorded some demos today. Performances fall into the "I'm OK, you're OK" realm, and the audio is fair, but I think the idea gets across.

Hey, Mel--

Those videos were most enjoyable!

Hot licks and snappy repartee!

And how many bands have I been dismissed from because I wanted to add "Crimson and Clover" to the set list? Too many to count.

Now that was fun! Get up with a cup o' coffee, turn on the computer and watch Mel demo his for sale items. Don't much care for the tone of the first guitar but it sure looks cool. Love the amp!
