Telecaster style body for sale

Postby KRamone27 » Sat May 10, 2008 8:58 am

I know it's not a mosrite but I got a bunch of guitar parts that I'm looking to unload and this is one of them. I built this body maybe 1-1/2 years ago and just never had the motivation to finish cause I got tied with other project. It is made of 2 piece honduran mahogany and routed for 1 humbucker and a plethora of control options (me being a punk rock musician I planned on having just a master volume). I would like to get $80.00 but will accept a reasonable offer. I was going to put it on ebay but I'm offering it here first.L8r, Kevin

Kevin, that's a GREAT PRICE for that! The wood alone is worth that much.
SOMEBODY on this Forum must be thinking about a Tele Project. OOORRR,
if someone wants to get creative, that body could possibly be RE-shaped
into maybe a "Bluesbender??? 8-)
make the Mos' of it, choose the 'rite stuff.

Yeah I know, I spent $100 just for the wood alone and I'd rout for an additional neck pickup for additional cost. I just need the cash to fund other guitar projects.

Hey Kevin, check out his photo I got off the Mosrite Ventures model owners list. Hard to believe it could be a Mosrite, I'm guessing it's a parts guitar but your Tele body could be constructed into something like this.

Yeah, Danny, that's the Bluesbender I was referring to. That Tel body could be redone, with a little creativity  .

that's a possibility but I'd need a tracing or something to go off of. But I got my hands in too many projects.
