1960s Mosrite control knobs V & T "unplated"

Hey guys,

I've got 6 pair of these Original Mosrite Knobs I'm willing to part with.Price is $30.00 a pair
I bought big coffee can full of these(Unplated) in the late 70s from Brookshire Plating there in
Bakersfield. The're in pretty good shape a little oxizsided around the numbers "These need to be chrome plated" contact me at efelliottguitars@aol.com

Hi Ed what are these made of? Aluminum. Brass, Zamac? Not sure if I can nickelplate aluminum....

Hi Mr.Gun,

These are made of Zinc "Pot Metal" They plate real well.

Hi, maybe this is a stupid question but where would I take them to be plated and how much do you think it would run? I was going to send a PM but figured some other members might be wondering as well, thanks!

I plan to nickel plate my own. You could check your yellow pages, or wait until I get all of the stuff. ;)

I was able to get my Vibramute, arm, and some small pieces plated for @ $50 when I did my PartsRite ... Removes all the hassle, and the price wasn't bad.

Where did you have them plated Dennis? Was it local or did you ship them off?

It was local - Over on Manchester in St Louis. Theiss Plating9314 Manchester PH: 314-961-0600 ..
