Well, this RANGER is one of many basses I own-(This forum fueled the GAS for it!!)-

With some added expenses to the cost of living, I decided to "thin the herd" and see if I could get any offers on my Hofner Club, my RumbleFish P/J, and...the FIllmore Ranger.

No luck so far, and that's OK! I'll get by! They're all still up for grabs, but the day I would ship any of these basses, particularly the MOSRITE, I would have seller's remorse big-time.

The Ranger's aren't easy to come by, and they're really a great build. Vintage collectability aside, I actually prefer having the FIllmore version to an older Bakersfield model.

They're really cool looking, playing, sounding instruments.

This pic is from MY digicam, which obviously...ain't working!

The first pic in my post is a j-peg of the actual bass, the one I'm selling- that pic from Ed Roman's library-where the purchase was made. It's (obviously) a little clearer.....

The headstock on this bass is the Fillmore headstock as used on the SunBurst version-
Black with the "Mosrite" logo as they are licensed to use

I'll describe it again:

A Fillmore Mosrite Mark I Ranger Bass Guitar-

Most on this forum know exactly what the Fillmore product is-
IMO the BEST Mosrite available today; an accurate and very finely built version of (in this instance) a 1965 "Ventures"
Model Bass Guitar.

EDIT- Kewl!
